Welcome

Under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016 those proposing major development are required to consult with members of the public and community as well as statutory bodies prior to submitting their planning application to the Local Planning Authority.

This website provides details of the proposed development at HMP Parc.

The applicant Galliford Try Construction Limited intends to submit a full planning application for the proposed works in July 2025. You are invited to make comments for the project team to consider before we submit the planning application.

It is important to note that this exercise is entirely separate from the statutory consultation that Bridgend County Borough Council will conduct once the applications have been submitted. The current process will not preclude you from making future comments and should you wish to do so, you may make further comments at that stage, for consideration by the Council.
